I’ve always been curious about the ‘whys’ of life.
“The important thing is not to stop questioning: curiosity has its own reason for existing.” Einstein
Through questioning I’ve discovered that, simply put emotions drive us and that once we competently manage what we’re thinking, we are capable of creating absolutely anything we desire.
That said, there are a couple of caveats.
The questions we ask ourselves must be powerful and strategic to serve us, taking us in the direction we want to go.
We must also return to our innate intuition and re-learn trusting our gut.
When learning to fly a plane, ride a motorbike or drive a car, we tend go to an expert for mastery.
When learning to manage our emotions why don’t we do the same?
As an Emotionologist, I coach and consult with aspiring and established creatives whose emotions debilitate them and prevent them from authentically tapping into their creative genius.
My work strengthens the identity of who the creative is and builds a structure around what they do. Clients include musicians, vocalists, dancers, actors, creative directors, film producers/directors, training institutions and those wishing to pursue a creative career (whatever that means to them).
I’ve discovered from personal and professional experience that the desire to innovate and serve is a double-edged sword based on curiosity followed by questions that never seem to get answered.
Without self-management, this contradiction is like a monkey in a busy restaurant kitchen: absolute chaos!
My work also extends to clients who simply wish to make emotional change in their life away from a creative focus.
The one thing my clients have in common is the daily ‘emotional suicide’ that paralyses their ability to fearlessly live due to reoccurring unresolved thoughts, low self-worth and feelings of hopelessness.
Coupled with the unpredictable emotions of others and it’s no wonder there’s disruptive emotional disharmony.
My curiosity about how I can show up fully every day has led me to the wonders and learnings of neuroscience and the belief that the brain is always capable of change.
Emotional Intelligence (understanding our emotions and those of others), Somatics (the body experienced within), Positive Psychology, Transformational and Master Coach trainings ensure that my work is current, professional, results-orientated, strategic, ethical and person-centred.
Not only that, a deep understanding of yoga, meditation and mindfulness as a Senior Yoga Teacher inform my work together with years of holistic and physical trainings from soft tissue massage to dance.
My mission is to build a community of emotionally intelligent creatives who understand the power of emotional management. A community where creatives can collectively support one another and draw power from the knowledge that life has no meaning other than the meaning attach to it.
Did you know that we have 50-60 thoughts a minute, around 60-70,000 a day?
90% of these thoughts are reoccurring.
If your thoughts make you feel anxious, depressed, frustrated, angry, helpless, sad or any of the other negative thoughts that exist, isn’t it time for change?
